200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Next Teacher Training begins March 1st 2025

Join us for an incredible yoga and self-development journey. You may be wanting to teach and share your love of yoga— or maybe you just to learn more about you and yourself; we can help you to broaden your skills, your knowledge and build that confidence.

This initial 200 hour training is open to all levels and ages. We will discuss topics, including: the history of yoga, yoga and ethics, the energy body and everything from learning asanas (poses) to building a class sequence and guiding others through their own practice. This is a wonderful journey that will change your life, if you let it, by helping you to be more mindful and aware of not only your body, but your mind and spirit as well. We are a certified 200 Hour Register Yoga School with Yoga Alliance.

The lead trainer is Carrie Maggard E-RYT 500 Therapeutically Oriented Yoga Instructor with a Level 1 Yoga for Resiliency & Trauma Recovery, Reiki Level 2 and Sound Healer Master Certified. She is assisted by Matthew Maggard LMT, RTY 200 and Shirley Gomillion RYT 200

Training will be Saturday and Sunday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm every other weekend
$2395 with Early Early Bird Special and Early Bird Specials available
Deposit to hold your spot $500 and is non-refundable
Final Payment due at fist class. If this current offering is not doable for you, please contact us for dates of the next session. They generally run during October -March.

There is also a list of books you will be required to purchase as well as a few suggested readings. Upon deposit payment, a welcome letter and these lists will be sent to you.

Reiki Certification

Unlock the healing potential within you through Reiki training. This program offers a profound understanding of energy work, guiding you to channel universal life force energy for healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. Participants will learn techniques to enhance their intuitive abilities, practice self-healing, and support others in their wellness journeys.

Level Reiki I Training Class

We will begin with the Reiki history and learn what Reiki Energy is all about, the Chakras for both human and pets, and how to facilitate a Reiki session on yourself and others. 

There will be an hour lunch break around 1:00pm and we are about 5-10 min from town, so please plan accordingly.  Continuing after lunch, you will each receive the Reiki 1 Attunement.  Following the attunement, you will practice on each other to further experience the Reiki Energy.  At the closing of the day, you will be ready to do Reiki on yourself, others and your pets.  Dress comfortably; all other items will be provided as well as a few snacks and bottled water (please feel free to bring your own bottle to refill during the day, we have Reverse Osmosis water) .

 Level Reiki II Training Class

 We will begin with the three Reiki Symbols, what each mean and how to use and activate them in your healing practice.  We will then learn about Reiki Distant Healing and how to send and use it.  Continuing after lunch, you will each receive the Reiki 2 Attunement and symbols.  You will practice sending distant Reiki with our photo in hand (bring a photo of a person or pet you would like the class to send Distant healing to;  if you do not have a photo, we can still send healing with a name and location).  If possible, obtain permission from this person for us to send Reiki healing to (if you don’t we can appeal to their higher selves for permission).  Following this, you will practice using the new symbols and their associated new energies.

Sound Healing Certification

Learning sound healing offers benefits for personal growth and professional development. It is a sacred, and ancient science which works with therapeutic sound frequencies to help align specific energy centers towards better rest, alertness, reduce pain and other ailments.

Level 1 9am-5pm $200
We will cover the History, Evolution and Science of Sound Healing. Benefits of Sound Therapy and Concepts from Sound, Frequency and Vibrational Therapy, Common Responses to Sound Healing, the Future of Sound Healing.

Level 2 9am-5pm $200
We will dive into Crystal Singing Bowls and Tuning Forks, their history, uses, benefits and contraindications. You will receive hands on training on both modalities including many other sound healing tools and instruments.
